Pixels & CAPI

Meta Pixel & Conversion API (CAPI) Setup

iOS restrictions, ad blockers and cookie limits mean browser-only tracking loses a large share of your conversions. I install the Meta Pixel correctly and pair it with the Conversion API so Meta receives both browser and server events — deduplicated, parameter-rich and reliable.

Pixel installation done properly

A pixel that fires is not the same as a pixel that reports correctly. I verify every event, on every template, with real test purchases.

  • Base pixel installed sitewide on WordPress / WooCommerce
  • Standard ecommerce events mapped to real user actions
  • Duplicate and legacy pixel cleanup
  • Meta Events Manager and Pixel Helper verification
  • Domain verification and Aggregated Event Measurement priority setup

Conversion API (CAPI) integration

Server events reach Meta even when the browser event is blocked. I connect CAPI through the method that fits your stack.

  • CAPI via Conversions API Gateway, plugin or server-side GTM
  • Access token and dataset configuration
  • Advanced matching: hashed email, phone, name, city, country
  • Event Match Quality improvement and monitoring
  • Purchase reliability checks with test events

Deduplication that actually works

Without deduplication, one purchase can be counted twice and your ROAS becomes fiction. Event ID matching keeps the numbers honest.

  • Shared Event ID across browser and server events
  • Consistent event_name and event_time between sources
  • Deduplication verification in Events Manager
  • Parameters: Value, Currency, Content ID, Content Type, Items
  • Documentation of every event and parameter you own

Meta & GA4 events I configure

Every engagement includes professional configuration of the recommended Meta and GA4 events, with the right parameters for reliable measurement and clean deduplication between browser and server.

Frequently asked questions

What is event deduplication?

It tells Meta that a browser event and a server event describe the same action, using a shared Event ID — so a single purchase is counted once.

Do I need CAPI if my pixel works?

Yes. The pixel alone loses events to ad blockers, iOS restrictions and short cookie lifetimes. CAPI recovers a meaningful share of them.

Will this break my site?

No. Changes are tested before going live and verified with Meta test events.
